    Gareth Lewis

    Director, PwC

    Gareth has over 20 years multi-disciplined experience across the UK, European and global real estate sector. He leads PwC’s real estate thought leadership and research on behalf of the European firm, including PwC/ULI Emerging Trends in Real Estate European and Global reports. Having worked originally as a real estate advisor for EY in London and New York, he spent a number of years as an industry representative for the British Property Federation (BPF), European Public Real Association (EPRA) and the Urban Land Institute (ULI). During his 5 years at EPRA, he represented the European REIT sector in their engagements with governments, regulators and global investors. At PwC, Gareth helps real estate businesses in the development and execution of their real estate strategy/operations and drives PwC’s knowledge and insight relevant to real estate businesses.

    Rohan Sikri

    Senior Partner, The Xander Group, Inc.

    Rohan Sikri is Senior Partner at The Xander Group Inc. In 2005, he co-founded the firm’s India investment program. Based in Singapore, he is Executive Managing Director, Xander Investment Management, the real estate private equity arm of the group, which currently has over US$ 2.4 billion in assets under management across different investment strategies. Mr. Sikri chairs the investment committees for all Xander fund vehicles and the credit committee for Xander Finance. Earlier in India, from 2005 to 2010, he built and supervised Xander’s US$ 1.5 billion equity investment portfolio across direct acquisitions, development partnerships, and platform joint ventures, across real estate asset classes such as office, retail, hotels, residential and industrial. The portfolio has already seen profitable realizations of more than ~US$ 1.5 billion. In 2010, he co-founded Xander Finance, the group's credit platform in India, where he serves as Chairman of the board. In 2014, he established the firm’s first Office core plus strategy, which attracted capital largely from pension funds in Europe and the United States - currently with 7 million square feet, and a gross asset value of ~US$ 700 million. In 2019 he formed the firm’s first industrial real estate JV with a large European financial institution; the strategy has rapidly grown to US$ 200 million, with a pan-India portfolio of logistics/ warehousing assets. He is also a board member of Virtuous Retail South Asia Pte. Ltd., a Singapore headquartered integrated retail and lifestyle developer-owner-operator, set up in 2016 as a US$ 1 billion JV between APG Asset Management and Xander Retail Partners. From 1999 to 2005, Mr. Sikri was with CBRE in India, initially as part of the Strategic Consulting Group, and later as the head of the corporate finance practice. Mr. Sikri’s 22 years in the real estate industry, across multiple Asian markets including India, Indonesia, Japan, Singapore, Vietnam, Thail

    Lisette van Doorn

    Chief Executive Officer, Urban Land Institute - Europe

    As chief executive of ULI Europe, Lisette van Doorn is responsible for the development of the Institute’s activities across the region, including its renowned pan-European conferences and over 250 local meetings and events across 14 countries. She is responsible for working with ULI’s staff both locally and globally to deliver more high-profile content and reports; coordinating Advisory Services panels and Urban Plan; and expanding the Institute’s thought leadership across Europe. Van Doorn joined ULI in January 2015 from LIRE, her own consultancy business, which advises international institutional real estate investors and fund managers on strategy, organisational optimisation and portfolio structuring. Prior to this, van Doorn was country manager for CBRE Global Investors where she managed a €1.6bn portfolio of assets in Italy and fund manager of two shopping centre funds (€ 1.3 billion) with assets in Spain, Portugal, and Italy. Before joining CBRE Global Investors, van Doorn was founding chief executive for INREV, the European association for Investors in Non-Listed Real Estate Vehicles for four and a half years. Van Doorn started her career at ING Investment Management, where she held account manager and assistant controller positions before being made managing director of research & strategy for ING Real Estate Investment Management Europe.

    Anne Breen

    Global Head of Real Estate, abrdn

    Anne began her real estate career at Standard Life Investments in 1999. She was appointed Head of Real Estate Research & Strategy in 2007 and over her tenure has seen our real estate assets under management quadruple to more than £40bn. Anne has been instrumental in the modernisation of the abrdn real estate business over the last 24yrs, embedding and driving our research driven approach which underpins the overall performance of our underlying funds, the launch of a number of innovative products including our global real estate strategies and UK long income franchise, and the management and development of our world class real estate investment teams. Anne’s experience across all real estate asset classes, including debt and indirects, and deep understanding of the role of ESG in real estate investing, has proved essential in her most recent appointment as Global Head of Real Estate where our clients are increasingly aware of the broader benefits of real estate as an asset class. Anne also holds a board position in the Association of Real Estate Funds (AREF) board. She also sits on abrdn’s Global Inclusion Committee, is a board member of Abrdn Alternative Funds Board (regulated by FCA) and a board member of abrdn Investments Ireland Limited (regulated by CBI).

    David Inskip

    EMEA Head of Research, CBRE Investment Management Europe BV

    David Inskip is EMEA Head of Research for CBRE Investment Management. In this role, David is responsible for shaping and overseeing the research capabilities of the EMEA business. He, along with the team that he manages, provides thought leadership on a variety of topics, advises on fund strategy and supports investment teams in asset selection. Before his current role, David served as UK Head of Research. Prior to joining CBRE Investment Management in 2014, David worked at CBRE where he led the EMEA forecasting program, supported the capital markets business and advised on client strategy. David moved into the property industry in 2011 when he took up a role as UK Economist at Grosvenor, although his experience of applying econometric and other quantitative methods in the analysis of property markets begins in 2006. He also has several years’ experience in economic consultancy and was Senior Economist at Experian Business Strategies.
