The past year has brought unprecedented challenges for businesses in Belgium. It's more important than ever for industry leaders to arm themselves with the vital information and data needed to make strategic decisions that promote growth.

During our half-day conference, eminent personalities from the real estate industry will analyse the structural economic, social, and environmental IMPACTS of this crisis on our economy, sector, and community. We look forward to welcoming these experts and learning how the industry can reinvent itself to have a positive impact on society.

Belgium's National Bank Governor Pierre Wunsch will present an Economic Outlook Forecast for the Belgian market and beyond. This will be followed by a conversation with Thomas Dermine, State Secretary for Economic Recovery and Strategic Investments, who will share his vision, ambitions, and the priorities of the Economic Recovery Plan for the economy and real estate industry (buildings, social housing, schools, and infrastructure, including transport, energy, and logistics).

Interviews to be led by Xavier Denis, Chair, ULI Belgium

The 'ESG IMPACTS' session will kick off with a brief presentation on the main findings of ULI's report 'Zooming in on the "S" in ESG: A Road Map for Social Value in Real Estate'. This will be followed by a leaders' discussion on the positive impact that real estate investment and development can have on our communities beyond financial returns.
