Christiane Conrads is a German qualified lawyer and a member of the Real Estate Advisory practice in Frankfurt am Main. Christiane leads the Global Real Estate ESG team at PwC. Prior to joining PwC in 2018, Christiane worked for more than 10 years in real estate teams of leading international and national law firms. Christiane Conrads has over 15 years of experience in real estate and transactional advisory. Her focus is on ESG in the built environment, where she has been leading national and international ESG advisory projects for almost 12 years, advising institutional investors, real estate portfolio owners, fund initiators and asset managers, among others.

Bahar Yay Celik is the Professional Standards Manager at INREV. She is responsible for ESG initiatives under the Professional Standards umbrella, including topics such as Sustainability guidelines, climate risk, impact investing, ESG regulation, due diligence and reporting. She was with GRESB before coming to INREV, where she supported ESG assessments for infrastructure sector, and previous to that role she undertook a research project on Blended Finance for UN Sustainable Development Goals at FMO – the Dutch Development Bank. Before that, Bahar worked for a several years in a private bank with a focus on sustainable finance. She received a MSc in Environment and Resource Management from Free University Amsterdam and a BSc in Political Science and Public Administration from METU, Ankara Turkey.

Regan has overall accountability for implementing and managing the sustainability strategy across our real estate and infrastructure portfolios. She develops strategic programs to address changing global market demand, the policy landscape, and investor expectations toward sustainability and corporate environmental, social, and governance objectives. She works with global investment management teams and asset managers to assess the environmental and social impact of investments. Prior to joining the firm, Regan held a leadership role in the sustainability and energy team at the engineering consulting firm WSP, where she provided sustainability advisory services, green building certification, energy and carbon management, and greenhouse gas accounting. She’s a member of the climate change task force for our parent company, Manulife Financial, and works collaboratively to advance sustainability efforts throughout the organization. Regan is a member of the PRI Real Estate Advisory Committee and was a 2022 Clean50 recipient, which recognizes remarkable and inspiring leaders in sustainability.

A pioneering green building and sustainability advocate for over two decades, Esther has been instrumental in establishing CDL’s leadership in sustainability. It is ranked top real estate company on the Global 100 Most Sustainable Corporations in the World since 2020. It became the first real estate conglomerate in Southeast Asia to sign the World Green Building Council’s Net Zero Carbon Buildings in February 2021. Named by Reuters as one of 25 trailblazing women leaders in climate 2023, Esther’s pioneering ESG initiatives include publishing the first sustainability report in Singapore in 2008 and issuing the first green bond by a Singaporean company in 2017. The chairperson of the Sustainability Report Advisory Committee in Singapore, she also sits on board the Global Reporting Initiative (GRI) Supervisory Board, GRESB Foundation Board, and UN PRI Real Estate Advisory Committee. She chairs the World Green Building Council Corporate Advisory Board; the Asia Pacific Real Estate Association’s ESG Committee; and co-chairs the Urban Land Institute Singapore’s Sustainability Product Council. A forerunner in embracing the UN SDGs, Esther was conferred 2018 SDG Pioneer for Green Infrastructure and A Low Carbon Economy by the UN Global Compact. A G20 Empower Advocate in 2022, Esther recognizes that youth engagement and female empowerment is crucial for sustainable development. She founded the Women4Green network in 2017 and the Youth4Climate initiative in 2018.

Nehla KRIR is Head of Sustainable Development and CSR of BNP Paribas Real Estate Investment Management (REIM) since September 1 st . With her new position as Head of Sustainability and CSR, Nehla Krir, 34 years old, will be in charge of operational deployment and monitoring of BNP Paribas REIM sustainability strategy on a panEuropean level. Nehla has an excellent understanding of CSR and the real estate market. Throughout her career, she has had the opportunity to create and carry out projects related to CSR and ESG strategies for a range of international companies. Before joining BNP Paribas REIM, Nehla worked as a real estate Senior Auditor for PwC Audit from 2008 to 2011, a Sustainability Manager for PwC Consulting from 2011 to 2014, Global Head of Sustainability from 2014 to 2018 and then as Business Transformation Officer for AXA Investment Managers – Real Assets from 2018 to 2020. Recognized as an expert in CSR and ESG topics within the real estate market, Nehla took on the role of chairman of the ULI European Sustainability Council (2016-2018), which brings together European investors, occupiers, developers, public officials and academics with the goal of debating and exploring the best practices in sustainable development. She holds a Master degree in Civil Engineering with a major in Building Construction and Project Management & Sustainability that she gained from ESTP Engineering School in 2008.
